Arista had found herself in Ocean City. Her parents were still unpacking the boxes at the house and she had taken her chance to go and start to make her impact. There was no doubt that the beach was busy with the amazingly warm weather. Arista was dressed in a pair of short denim shorts and a bright green t shirt.
As she walked down the beach she was lecturing a few people about their sun cream and make up. "Have you checked if it' been tested on animals?! You love your pets? Well whatever animal that lipstick got tested on, it could have been someone's pet. Do you feel proud of yourself?" So what if Arista was getting a tonne of odd looks in her direction. She was standing up for what she believed in. If she could open even one persons eyes than she would be happy.

In tihs little tourist trap of a city, cooking grease was easy to come by, which made things alot easier for Terence, seeing as that what he built his motorcycle to run on. He loaded up at a little verder's place and went for a ride on the boardwalk and toward the beach. The boy was bored. Well, it ws summer time, not that he really cared about school, but now there was really nothing to do around here.
At least the beach was nice scenery. Maybe he could be inspired for a poem or something. As he got closer to the beach he saw such a sight. There was a girl with red hair in a bright green shirt and it looked like she was yelling at someone. He wondered if this girl was a real punk or just a wanna be.
Terence drove over near the area and parked his bike. He was smiling as he walked. His dark jeans sat nicely on his legs and covered most of his black converse shoes. Terence was wearing a white shirt, but it was mostly hidden by the plaid jacket on.

Arista was continuing the lecture. People just didn't seem to care. What was it with some people? Yes, everyone was an animal lover and no one likes animal testing but we'll still go ahead and buy the make up that has been animal tested because it makes us look good.
She noticed a boy in a plaid jacket walking across the beach. Arista didn't particularly care that she didn't know these people. She pointed out the boy and said, "Fair trade clothing or blood sweat and tears of a five year old child in between every stitch?" There were so many things that bugged her that Arista wished she could change. People needed to wake up and see the consequences of their actions.

Terence's eyes almost bugged out if his eye sockets when she pointed to him. "What the hell!" he growled. "And just who are you to assume my clothes are some hooty tooty name brand that gets made by kids in some starving third world country?" It was his favorite jacket and he would defend it to the end.
He folded his arms. "At least tell me you aren't a hypocrate and the stuff you put in your hair wasn't tested on animals first." The roar of his motorcycle had provented him from hearing her rant about animal testing a minute ago. Was it fate that brought these two activists together today?

Finally, someone with a spine. So far Arista had only had people mutter responses so it was nice to have someone shout back at her. And apparently this guy knew what she was on about. "I'm Arista Tempest. I say I can assume what I like." It wouldn't have matter if he was 6ft and a bodybuilder she'd still have been mouthy at him.
"Obviously you missed my rant two minutes ago on animal testing. I wouldn't touch a thing that's been tested on animals first." Arista had spent ages finding the right hair dye to use. But his comment had caught her attention. He cared about animal testing. Maybe she wasn''t alone in her fight to help make the wold a better place.

Terence glared down at the girl. "Didn't mother ever tell you it's not polite to assume?" He smiled when she said touch anything that had been tested on animals. So she was a serious activist. "No... I missed that rant... and I do apologize for missing it."
He looked around the area. It seemed most people were now avoiding the area. "I think you've successfully scared off half the tourists. Bravo." He chuckled. "Would you like a drink? Some water perhaps, get some strength back in your voice so you can yell at some more people." He grinned.
