Liam pulled into the family's driveway with his red pick up truck. Sure it wasn't the flashiest thing. but he loved his truck. It was one of those hardy Trucks. it used to have been his grandfather's but it didn't faze him. He stepped out of the car and closed the door before heading to the front door and opened the front door. As soon as he came in, he sighed before saying, "I'M HOOOOME!"

No one could mistake the load roar of Liam's truck. Kyle had heard her parents say that Liam was coming home for the summer and she couldn't wait til he got there. She was sitting in her room reading a book that she had to finish before school started (darn those teachers for assigning a reading list) when she heard the noise.
She rushed down the stairs when she heard the sound of the parking break. Kyle was in her loose dancing pants and a cut up tshirt, nothing special. She was ready to pounce her oldest brother when he opened the door. "LIAM!" She jumped up and hugged him tight as to prevent herself from falling after jumping up. Kyle laughed. |

Tobi heard the roar of the truck and he followed Kyle down the stairs but he Slid down the banister. He grinned and said "Welcome Back Bro!" as he slid across the tiles in his socks over to give his brother a hug.

Liam laughed and said "thanks for the warm welcome" he hugged Kyle tightly and said... "Kyle! how's my favorite sister? Causing trouble i hope?" then he wiggled out of Kyle's hug to hug Tobias. "Hey Tobi.... How have you been bro?" then he asked "where's the rents?" to no one in particular.

Kyle laughed when Liam said he hoped she was causing trouble. "You know it!" She pouted though when he unclenched her from him to hug Tobias. She managed to wrap an arm back around his waist as he hugged Tobi.
"Oh, Mom and Dad are at the grocery store... picking up food for your surprise welcome home party." She chuckled. "They thought you weren't gonna be back til tomorrow." |

Liam laughed and said "oh? a party? I love parties" he laughed more and said "well i couldn't wait to come home and give you a hug" He flashed a winning smile. "you both still play baseball?"

Kyle laughed. "Probably not the type of party Mom and Dad are planning. This won't be like the keggers you have a college." Kyle winked at Liam and gave him a nudge.
She smiled. "Ha! I knew I was your favorite." Kyle playfully stuck her tongue out at Tobias. Then she looked back at Liam like he ws crazy. "Of course we both still play. I think I might be pitcher this year." She grinned happily. |

Liam laughed and said "who says i drink? i am a good boy" ok that was a lie but oh well. he was supposed to set a good example for his sibs. "i love most kinds of parties"
Tobias stuck out his tongue at Kyle and said "whatever sis"
Liam smiled and said "that's good... i was only wondering if you two wanted to go and throw the ball around or hit the batting cages?"

Kyle folded her arms and looked Liam in the eyes. "Liam please. I'm your fifteen year old sister. I'm not stupid. I'm not Mom and Dad either." She rolled her eyes. The girl really doubted that liam went to college parties and didn't have at least one cup of alcohol.
She laughed when Tobi said whatever. and stuck his tongue out. "Oh come on Tobi... between me and Liam, I'm your favorite too." She chuckled and smiled. Kyle looked between the two when Liam prpposed some baseball practice. "I'm up for it. I just need to change first.". |

Liam smiled and said "ah... you are too observant for your own good Kyle... but to be perfectly honest... i have been sober at the past 3 parties... the reason being i was the Designated Driver" He made a silly face. "and the fact that i didn't want to wake up during finals with a huge ass headache."
Tobi chuckled and said "yeah you are right." then he said "ok... let me get my sneaks on" and he ran up the stairs.

Kyle raised an eye brow. How could she be too observant for her own good? She shrugged it off. "Well, that's good. At least you're being responsible." She smiled and then she chuckled. "Smart too."
Kyle watched as Tobias went up thhe stairs to his room. "Welcome home, Liam." She leaned over and got on her tip toes as she gave her oldest brother a kiss on the cheek. "I just need ten minutes." She ran up the stairs then, already thinking about what outfit she wanted to wear. |

Liam nodded and said "yeah good thing i promised the rents i would stay sober during the summer and i was just practicing" he laughed then when Kyle went upstairs, Liam got himself a water and sat down on the couch.
Tobias came down with a backwards baseball cap and his shoes on.he plopped down on the chair as he waited for Kyle.

Kyle stopped up at the stairs. "What? Mom and Dad KNOW you drink? Are you crazy?" She shook her head and went into her room. Whatever. When she went to college and she drank and was underage she was so NOT telling the parentals.
Kyle turned and went into her room to change. The cut up tshirt was fine, but she needed better pants to practice baseball in. The girl smiled when she found her cut off short shorts. Her hair was already up in a ponytail but she redid it to make sure it would stay up in practice.
Now the real question... to wear flip flops or sneakers? Hmm... flip flops would be best. She smiled, grabbed her shoes and went back down the stairs. "Ready." |

Liam laughed and said "well they know because they came by one day and caught me. i wouldn't of told them." he shrugged simply. then he said "ready." Tobias nodded and they got up. Liam went and jotted a note to the parents telling them where they were heading.

Kyle smiled. While her brother's back was turned she took the note that Liam had written their parents and tucked it in her back pocket. It could be a surprise that Liam came home early... or stir a little bit of trouble. "Let's go show them how it's done. She grinned and rushed past both her brothers. "I call shot gun!" |
