Tobias headed to the pier late in the afternoon. The Boardwalk had been crowded all day and it seemed to not let up yet. He had brought a picnic basket with him and the essentials for a lovely picnic at sunset. The fishermen had long went home since the fish weren't biting today. He set out a blanket and stuff. He even brought his guitar.

Caitlyn was on her way home after a days worth of shopping. She had gotten a text on her Blackberry and turned around and headed for the pier. She was lucky that she had on her flip flops and not one of her many pairs of heels, Caitlyn wore a white and sea-green striped lace Cami under a light weight white cardigan with a pair of denim blue Capri's and her white flip flops matched her outfit perfectly. She had the normal silver and gold bangles and a seashell necklace and a pair of matching earrings. It looked as if she had bought the store out because of how many bags she had in the back. The hood was back on her convertible, the wind was light; so she couldn't have gotten a wind burn or pink cheeks besides the makeup she had put on this morning. Caitlyn had put the hood up on her convertible and locked it before walking along the boardwalk to the pier.

Tobi was standing up against the railing of the Pier. he looked out at the Atlantic Ocean. The waves were growing bigger, but not too big. mostly like a foot or so. He loved living by the beach, it was too amazing for him to put into words. He was tossing some bread crumbs out for the seagulls to eat. He thought it was funny to see them fighting over bits of bread.

Caitlyn saw Tobi up ahead and smiled. she loved being popular and dating a jock. She walked up to him and smiled, this was her chance to have a real boyfriend she didn't want to blow it like she had on her previous relationships. "hey there" she had a wrap around her hair so it wouldn't get all tangled and in her face when the wind blew.

Tobi heard footsteps and he spun around. He grinned when he saw Caitlyn. "Hey Caitlyn" he said brightly when he spotted her. "I am glad you got my text." The wind blew past his face gently. He felt like the luckiest guy in the world to be dating Caitlyn.

Caitlyn smiled at him and put her hands on his waist and kissed his cheek. "so am i..." she was happy to be dating Tobi and for taking things slow was really hard for her. but she was trying her best.

Tobi kissed her back on the cheek. "so how are you today?" he asked brightly. then he added, "oh by the way, you look beautiful as ever." He was too happy to see her. "i thought it would be fun to have a picnic while watching the sunset. "

"i'm great, i had a wonderful day shopping and then i got to see you" she said happily. "thanks, i really didn't try hard at all today, these are just my relaxing clothes" she looked out into the ocean and the sound calmed her like it always had. "sounds great Tobi" she said after turning back around.

Tobi grinned and said "that sounded like fun. I was playing catch with one of my friends from the baseball team earlier. then i came here." He was wearing jeans and a gray t-shirt.(like in his siggy) . "that just goes to show you... you are beautiful no matter what you wear" said Tobi grinning. He watched the seagulls fly off in the distance.

"well, it sounds like you had a good day...whats his name? your friend?" she asked him wondering about his friends. "i'm glad you came here. this is one of my favorite places besides shopping in stores and in the theatre." she smiled and wrapped her one arm across his back, it stopped at the small of his back...your really sweet Tobias"

Tobi smiled and said "it was Josh. he is the 3rd baseman." then he said "same. it is one of my favorite places besides the beach and the theatre. " He gave her a gentle hug. "you are sweet as well Caitlyn"

"you know i want to meet your friends, not like i'll know what you guys talk about but it would be nice to meet them to make a statement" she stared out looking at the ocean. Caitlyn chuckled "you obviously haven't seen the worst of me" she wanted him to pull her close and comfort her as they looked at the ocean.

Tobi smiled and said "of course. i'll introduce you to them next time they are around. i am sure they would absolutely love you as much as i do. well maybe as not as much because if they love you the same amount as me... i will have alot of competition." he laughed. He hugged her close and whispered, "you aren't that bad. at least not to me. "

Caitlyn giggled. "you do know that you ramble a lot right?" she then nodded, "that would be great thanks" she found his rambling kinda cute, but it could drive her nuts in the future if they were still together. she really hoped that they were. Caitlyn turned her head towards him and gave him a small peck. "now why would i want to be mean to you?"

Tobi blushed lightly and said "I do? perhaps i should stop rambling." He made a silly face."but yeah... maybe you could watch me and the guys play in our summer baseball league." He grinned. then he kissed her softly and said "i don't know of a reason for you to be mean to me"
