Tobias had sneaked off to his and Eliza's secret spot. He just went there to think and to be alone, without his siblings near him. He had his arms around his folded up legs as he watched the water go back and forth in the distance.It was calming to him just to hear the waves crash. He had his toes in the sand as he had his flipflops off and next to him.

Eliza was in her very own car, driving as fast as she could. She just wanted to get away. It had been a long, hard day at the animal shelter. She had tears in her eyes and was finding it a little hard to watch the road. She pulled over at the closest available place where she wouldn't get in trouble for it.
The girl wanted a place to go away and hide. She remembered the spot under the pier that she and Tobias used to go to when they were younger. That would be perfect! Eliza got there as fast as she could without causing too much attention to herself.
She got there finally and sighed. Her back as turned to Tobias at first. She as looking up, looking to make sure no one had seen her go to her secret spot. When she turned around she saw Tobias and almost fell backword when she jumped. "Tobias!" Her voice shook lightly.
Truth be told, she'd been avoiding him if possible. She was just, so worried, that if she was near him she would kiss him more. And that would be so wrong! |

Tobias smiled softly when he spotted Eliza.He missed talking to her and such.He chuckled when he saw her jump."Hey Eliza. surprised to see me here eh?" he asked in a soft tone. then he spotted the tears in her eyes. "What's wrong Eliza? you look upset" He patted the sand near him so she could sit down if she wanted to.
He hated it when Eliza was upset, because in his opinion, crying, just like laughter is contagious. And the fact he was genuinely worried about her. "haven't talked for few days. and i really miss just talking with you" he said in a sweet innocent tone.all he wanted to do at the moment was to make her smile.because he loved it so much when she smiled.

Well there was no avoiding him now. She sighed as she walked over and sat down. "I had a bad day at the shelter." She sniffled a little. "They put a puppy down." She flopped to the ground next to Tobias. "Stupid rule about having too many animals in for too long." She wiped her cheeks. "He was only a baby and they killed him."
She missed talking to him too. It was hard to stay away from him. Eliza rested her head against Tobi's shoulder adn sighed. "Just not fair...." |

Tobi frowned when he heard what happened. "that is very sad. to put a puppy down. i guess life is cruel like that eh?" He sighed softly. then he gave her a gentle hug. Tobias smiled softly and said," next time an animal needs a home, don't hesitate to call" he chuckled and said "i was thinking of getting a pet from the shelter but i don't know what kind to get." He looked out at the water in thought. "remember all the fun times we had here?" he asked

Eliza leaned into the hug. It felt good, not just to be hugged, but because it was him hugging her. "Thanks, Tobias." It really was sweet of him to offer, but she couldn't just call him up every time. She sighed and nodded.
"Yeah. I remember." It made her smile a little bit. |
